Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bitcoin Story, a web application operated by CoinGarage s.r.o., a company incorporated in the Czech Republic (EU), Company ID (IČO) 11667974("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using bitcoinstory.ai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Bitcoin Story is

Bitcoin Story is an informational and educational product. It aggregates publicly available Bitcoin market and on-chain data and uses automated tools to translate it into a plain-language daily report, a health score, and general context. It is not a brokerage, exchange, wallet, custodian, or money-services business, and it does not execute transactions or hold any funds or crypto assets.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing in the service is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset. The score, trends, and any "what it means" context are general information only, not personalized advice, and we are not your broker, adviser, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. See our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Accounts and authentication are handled by our provider (Clerk). You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions, trial, billing and cancellation

• The paid plan (Plus) is $19 per month and includes a 5-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically renews and your payment method is charged $19, and then renews every month until cancelled. By starting the trial you authorize these recurring charges.
• You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.
• If we change the recurring price or renewal terms, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect and tell you how to cancel if you do not agree.
• EU/EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By starting the paid subscription and requesting immediate access, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.
• Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; we are happy to resolve billing issues directly, and fraudulent chargebacks may lead to account suspension.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, resell, or redistribute the reports or data except as expressly permitted;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
• use the service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.

6. Intellectual property

The service, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal use while your account is active. Underlying market data may be owned by third parties.

7. Third-party data and services

We rely on third-party sources and providers (for example, market-data APIs, Stripe, Clerk, and email delivery). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party data or services, and their availability or accuracy is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including as to accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes

We may update the service or these Terms. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of the mandatory consumer-protection rights, or access to the courts, of your country or state of residence, which continue to apply. We aim to resolve disputes informally first, so please contact us before taking any formal action.

12. Electronic communications

You consent to receive agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications from us electronically, and you agree that electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

13. Eligibility and sanctions

You represent that you are not located in, or a resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. or EU sanctions, and that you are not on any government restricted-party list. The service is not offered where prohibited by law.

14. General

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
